Amarante is more than just an organic food store. It was born from a passion for healthy eating and a desire to provide greener alternatives.

The owners of this friendly store, invite you to bring your own containers and to fill them from a large selection of loose goods.
Among the products available are: rice, flour, grains, pulses, oil, pasta, nuts and seeds, dried fruit, nut butters, spices, teas and herbal teas, coffee and many more.
Grocery corner
Amarante is also a local grocery store where you can find:
• local produce - honey, maple products, hemp, seaweed, honeyberry (also known as haskap), rosehips
• crafts, soap, jewelry and textiles
• organic fruit and vegetables
• fresh and frozen products - meat and local cooked meat, shoots and sprouts, tofu, tempeh, miso, veggie paté, kombucha, fresh juice, Aloe Vera drinks, organic dairy produce etc.
• Regular groceries - vegetable juice, oil, sauces, olives, coconut milk, salad dressings, crackers, fine chocolate, chips and more

Enjoy the friendly atmosphere and view of Lake Témiscouata with an espresso coffee, a fair trade hot chocolate, tea or herb tea of your choice. Cold drinks are also available in summer: kombucha, lemonade, aloe drinks, coconut milk and fresh juice.
