Description

Permanent exhibitions
• Transcontinental National Railway Museum: in the Station Masters office and the storage room, the life of the station masters, the history of the Transcontinental line and the importance of the stations all comes to life, highlighting the importance of the railroad in the region.
• The story of Rivière-Bleue: in what was once the freight room, the exhibition tells the story of Rivière-Bleue from 1850 to 1950, from it's first inhabitants, Morrison and Nadeau, to the time of the sawmills. Forest and agriculture, church and schools, nothing is missing from this typical country village in the first half of the 20th century.
• Bootlegging, a snippet from the past: in front of the Old Railway Station, near the Petite Gare Aubut, 4 interpretation panels tell the story of the bootlegging era in the region.
• New: the Petite Gare Aubut and its exhibition about the Témiscouata Railways. In front of the Old Railway Station, this exhibition has models, artifacts and an interactive multimedia presentation explaining the fascinating history of the Temiscouata and National Transcontinental Railways which served this region.
