There are rewarding discoveries to be made in each of the ten municipalities through which the Route des Frontières passes. Among the Culture and Heritage attractions not be missed are the church of Saint-Andrée, the cemetery and Normantique Museum in Saint-Alexandre, the international bridge and Parc de la Frontière in Pohénégamook, the old railway station and its museum in Rivière-Bleue, and the Romain-Caron covered bridge at Saint-Jean-de-la-Lande. On the Transcontinental circuit you can see five ornamental slate sculptures erected in five different villages. In the seven southern municipalities of the Frontier Route you can enjoy gardens which are part of the Jardins célestes du Témiscouata (Celestial Gardens circuit). There are twelve local history interpretation panels by the road to help you.
