Description
The Musée du Témiscouata is the guardian of the rich ethnographic and cultural heritage of the Témiscouata region. Its collection represents over 1300 objects, all of which have been warmly donated by the people of Témiscouata. Every year, the museum unveils new exhibits that highlight this precious heritage.
Come and discover the new exhibits for 2025! This summer, the museum is proud to present the exhibition “L'énigmatique Dame du Lac: Marie Blanc” (The Enigmatic Lady of the Lake: Marie Blanc), which will tell the story of a mythical figure from the early 20th century who lived at Notre-Dame-du-Lac. In addition, the museum will welcome local artist Claudine Cousineau, who distinguishes herself by using local materials to create her own natural pigments.
