Who we are

The mandate of the CLD, as entrusted by the MRC (Regional Municipality) of Témiscouata , is to provide its population with the necessary means and services in order to support entrepreneurship and encourage socio-economic and tourist development. The CLD team supplies all the necessary support as well as the technical and financial tools needed for implementing projects and business plans.

At the end of 2002 the CLD created a job position for the development and promotion of the tourist industry in Témiscouata. The role of the agent is to coordinate the implementation of a marketing plan for tourism in the area through publicity and promotion , to act as a consultant and source of information for the people working in the tourist industry in the region, to help organize various events, inform tourists etc.
