Description
Built on the track of the old railway, the 134 km of gravel path is reserved for cyclists and pedestrians. Between Rivière-du-Loup and Cabano, the North Section covers more than 70 km, running alongside rivers and through beautiful forest, and includes several rest stops.
It is accessible from various departure points, all with free parking. The gradual gradient of the path makes this track pleasurable for all. In the summer season, the north section is patrolled.
Café de la Station, à Saint-Modeste (Station café, Saint-Modeste)
Whether you need to relax, have a bite to eat or quench your thirst, the Station Café is the best place to take a break. Located 15 km from Rivière-du-Loup (km 119.3), this small restaurant serves light meals, various beverages and iced treats, with two terraces, a lunch box service for cyclists and tourist information. Open from June 24 to Labour day.
Rustic camping
The Corporation Sentier Rivière-du-Loup/Témiscouata rents sites for camping sauvage (without services) along the trail.

Located at Saint-Honoré at km 93.9 (40 km from Rivière-du-Loup)

Located at Saint-Louis-du-Ha! Ha! at km 73 (61.3 km from Rivière-du-Loup)
All sites have 5 independent platforms next to the trail. They are run by the Corporation and rented for a small fee. For reservation or more information, contact the Corporation.

Cost : free
A voluntary bicycle permit costing $10 is available from information bureaus. The funds go directly to the maintenance of the trail.
