FANTASTIC ADVENTURE WITH THE AVENTURIERS DE LA CHASSE-GALERIE OF LEJEUNE
One of our major goals in spending our winter holiday in Québec was to go dog sledding.
We entrusted the organisation to our friend Marielle ( coordinator of the Border Route) who introduced us to "Les Aventuriers de La Chasse-Galerie" in Lejeune.
Our arrival in the snow and immense conifer forest was incredible. With a warm welcome in a home just like we, as French people, imagined: a wood house in the middle of the forest complete with howling dogs.
We helped harnessing the dogs and set off for a magnificent ride in the huge forest, all white and frosted. The real fun was to drive the team ourselves, the dogs were very obedient and always ready to leap forward at the magic word...
The night quickly fell and we were soon warm and cosy around the stove. Goulamine prepared us a good homemade meal and treated us to great local jams and apple juice. The next day we were off again, this time on a much longer ride with just as much fun and excitement. At the end, a pat for each dog to thank them for running so well, and a good picnic at Goulamine's boutique.
An excellent visit, as unusual as one could wish, as cold and sunny as we'd dreamed, such a warm welcome. Thanks a million Goulimine and Vincent,

My partner and I were on our first quad bike weekend last fall and we stayed in the Auberge Le Gémeau.
Our heads are full of great memories of the wonderful view and sparkling colors.
A considerate staff, receptive and ready to cater to every whim of their guests. We can never thank you enough, thanks a million and we'll see you in the fall of 2010! We've already made a reservation!

I would like to thank you all for letting me again take part in this incredible experience. The 10th edition was an enormous success and very pleasant. As always your reception was unparalleled and the organisation was impeccable. Seeing what you were able to accomplish has left me speechless, but I think that your greatest achievement is the life that you are able to breathe into every activity of the Tremplin, it's exceptional. Thank you, as well, for your generosity in letting me stay in Mr. Michaud's cottage. I really appreciated that, I experienced Témiscouata in a different way.

I am writing to show my gratitude to the organisers of the 10th edition. I really believe in the value of the effort made to make such an event accessible to the people of Dégelis and elsewhere, by radio and the new technologies. I think that you managed to keep a balance between entertainment and substance in your festival by reaching out to all ages. I was impressed by the quality of the teachers, the kindness of the staff and the leeway left to the artists. I believe I was given all the means necessary for me to make a realistic analysis of the possibilities within my reach. I am very willing to spread the word about how I enjoyed this experience in Dégelis, and I am looking forward to being invited to share my talent with you again. Good luck with future festivals, and thank you for believing in me.

Several days have passed since the event, and I still cherish everything that happened during the week of the festival, it was incredible. What a beautiful Tremplin! What wealth for the heart and soul. It's impossible to feel tired after receiving such a boost of energy. Magnificent shows, beautiful in every way. The performers manage to take us to the depths of the soul where we find the best of humanity, a place we don't often go. The voices and music were breathtaking. . Luc de Larochellière with «Si fragile» and Carolanne; Johanne Blouin with «Miserere» and Maxime, these two songs brought tears to the eyes and a release of pent up emotions. Utterly beautiful, two voices in perfect harmony. We don't always achieve the goals that are set initially, but you France, with ten years of passion that you shared with an efficient and dynamic team, you certainly went way beyond the goals set in 1999. You must feel very proud! I don't have words to express my admiration. Congratulations to you and your marvellous team for making the event such a success.

In the Chemin Faisant, we found a very welcoming inn. Warmth, comfort, good taste and music were all present. The most surprising was the cuisine...exceptional, unique, delicious, daring and exquisite!!! Cabano is not on our usual route, but we will go back, that's for sure! Liette and Hugues, the hosts, are charming and they deserve the prizes that they have been awarded.

Dear Benoît, volunteers and all the team at Cartonfolies,
We would like to thank you most sincerely for the reception you gave to our group during the Cartonfolies festival. The organisation was excellent and everyone greatly appreciated their visit to the beautiful region of Témiscouata. The group took full advantage of the various activities available, even winning some competitions. Teams are already forming ready for next year, a question of defending the title! So you haven't seen the last of Safari Condo.
An event of this size would not be possible without an army of volunteers. Often, the same people year after year, working behind the scenes, the volunteers are the lifeblood of a region's cultural life. We would like to thank all those who looked after our group and were so kind. A special mention to Benoît, who directed this event with a master's touch. It was a real pleasure to work with you, and we will definitely see you next year.

Such a beautiful place, and so close to home! In our sometimes too busy life, we took the time to take a break and be with our children. With such a snowfall - Wow! The forest on the hillside was just magical. What a beautiful weekend. The P'tite Maison has a special charm...Thank you!
